Guidningar Umedalen Skulptur

GALLERI ANDERSSON SANDSTRÖM erbjuder guidade visningar av Umeåregionens mest besökta turistmål – Umedalen Skulptur.

Ivar Torneus, tidigare universitetslektor och studierektor i Konstvetenskap vid Umeå universitet, leder besökarna genom parken och berättar om skulpturer och konstnärer. Utöver Ivar Torneus har galleriet knutit ett par utbildade konstvetare till sig. Alla våra guider kan ge en god bild av detta spektrum av samtidskonst som parkens skulpturer utgör.

Konstvandringen kan avslutas, eller inledas, med en fikapaus på Garaget, Umedalens egen kvartersrestaurang. För 35:- per person får man en kopp kaffe och en bulle. Fika serveras endast till inbokade grupper.

Guided tours Umedalen Skulptur

GALLERI ANDERSSON SANDSTRÖM now offers guided tours of the region’s most visited tourist attraction – Umedalen Skulptur.

Ivar Torneus, previous lecturer and Director of Studies in Art History at Umeå University, is one of the guides who will guide visitors through the park, giving an in detail presentation of the sculptures and artists. All the guides can give the visitors an in depth presentation of the sculpture and its position with the wide spectra of contemporary art.

It is possible to end, or start the tour with a coffee break at Garaget, the regions first and only BBQ restaurant. Coffee with a bun or muffin cost 35 SEK. Coffee is only served to booked groups of visitors.
